Meet Our New Intern

Joseph Biedenweg
Joe Beidenweg

The Steuben County Community Foundation has selected Trine University senior Joseph Biedenweg, to serve as Marketing, Media and Communications Intern.

A grant offered by the Lilly Foundation
through the Giving Indiana Funds For Tomorrow(GIFT) Initiative allowed all counties in Indiana  to apply for the pilot program. Upon approval, each foundation is given a set dollar amount to be used over a two year period for the purpose of hiring an intern or interns as they deem necessary. In addition to the grant money is a stipend to be used for the purchase of any supplies or equipment the intern may need to perform the job.

Joseph brings a great deal of experience in marketing and business development.  He has been very active at Trine in areas such as BETA Services (Business, Engineering and Technology Assistance), serving as alumni and philanthropy chair for Sigma Phi Fraternity, and assisting with parent relations.

Joseph's role at the Community Foundation will be to to assist with community awareness, donor development, researching and implementing social media services and revising marketing materials and communication tools.

Joseph will begin his internship on August 30th.

Welcome Joseph!
