Annual Margaritaville
Fundraiser a
Success
On
Friday, September 10th,
approximately 300
guests
enjoyed an evening of delicious food, lively
entertainment and festive decorations at
beautiful Glendarin Hills Golf
Club.
In addition to the much
loved "cheeseburgers in paradise", partygoers
were treated to a menu of varied
island fare and themed beverages.
The
John Kirkwood band provided dancers and
toe-tappers with music to keep
everyone smiling. The decorations
throughout enabled the guests to truly
feel that they were in
"Margaritaville".
Thank you to
everyone who attended, and to those who
support our efforts.

Fremont Middle School Students Benefit from The Ralph
Taylor Conservation
Fund
Students from
Fremont Middle School participated in Water
Works Day at Vistula Park in
Fremont
recently.
The purpose of
the event was to learn
about all types of water found in
Steuben County. Students
we re
given the task of collecting water from various
areas, testing it, and compiling reports of their
findings.
Participating students were from
the classroom of teachers Ken
Wertz, Julie Senecal, Sally Heller and Lucy
Cress. Wertz remarked to students
that "we have a lot of water in
the world, but not
fresh water."
The event was
made possible
by money awarded through the Ralph
Taylor Conservation Fund held at
the Community Foundation. The fund was
established by his wife, Cheryl, to honor two
of Mr. Taylor's passions; learning and the
outdoors.
